G2 MAX

34 mph, 70 km on paper — and it comes with a seat.

The G2 Max with its seat fitted, parked against an evening sky
01

The seat is in the box

Not an add-on, not an upsell — seat, seat base, fixings and two keys all come with it, along with a pump and a tool kit. Most scooters at this money sell you the seat separately for £30 or more. Fit it for the long runs, take it off in a minute when you would rather stand.

The rear tyre kicking up dust and loose gravel
02

1000 watts, and brakes to match

A single 1000W rear hub motor — 1200W at peak — pulling 34 mph and climbing up to 22°. Behind it: disc brakes front and rear plus an electronic brake, stopping in eight to twelve metres from full speed. Spring suspension both ends and 10-inch pneumatic tyres take the rest.

Carrying the folded G2 Max up a flight of steps
03

Folds, and actually gets carried

Down to 1260 × 605 × 580 mm and into a car boot. It is 31.7 kg, so we will not pretend it is light — but the stem folds with one orange clamp, and it will go up a flight of stairs when it has to.

04

Built to be left out in our weather

IP54 — better sealed than most at this price, which matters more here than it does in a brochure. LCD display with cruise control, three riding modes at 9, 25 and 34 mph, proper indicators, and a tail light that flashes when you brake.

70km*

*on paper, at middle speed with a 65 kg rider. In third gear on Northern Irish hills, plan 30–40 km per charge from the 48V 20.8Ah pack, then 10–11 hours on the charger overnight. You would hear that number from us in the shop, so it may as well be on the page.

G2 Max or G2 Master?

We sell both, so here is the straight answer rather than the sales one.

KuKirin's own film of the G2 Max. Filmed abroad — see the legal note below for where you can ride one here.

Where you can legally ride it

Private land only, with the landowner's permission. Privately owned e-scooters are not legal on public roads, pavements or cycle lanes in Northern Ireland, and 34 mph is far past anything that would ever be permitted. That is not our house rule, it is where the law sits. Buy this for land you can ride on.

Bought from a real shop.
Backed by a real workshop.

Every G2 Max leaves our Cookstown shop built, checked and with the seat fitted if you want it that way — from people who have sold and fixed these since 2006, with KuKirin parts on the shelf and a phone that gets answered. Come and stand beside one before you decide. Collect, or NI delivery.

Quick answers

How fast does the G2 Max go?

34 mph (55 km/h) with a rider on board. Three modes: 9, 25 and 34 mph.

Does the seat really come with it?

Yes — seat, seat base, four screws and two keys are in the box, along with a pump and tools. No extra cost.

Is it road legal?

No — private land with the owner's permission only, like every privately owned e-scooter in NI. Full rules here.

What range will I really get?

Plan 30–40 km. The 70 km figure is measured at middle speed with a 65 kg rider on flat ground.

How is it different from the G2 Master?

The Max has one motor, spring suspension and comes with a seat. The Master has two motors, hydraulic suspension and no seat, for £119 more.

Will it survive Northern Irish weather?

It is IP54 rated, which is better sealed than most in this class. Still worth keeping it in the shed rather than the driveway.

Who fixes it?

We do — in our own Cookstown workshop, with parts in stock. You are never posting it anywhere.

Can I reserve one for Christmas?

Yes — £20 minimum holds it, pay the rest your way, collect by Friday 18 December.

About this ride

The KuKirin G2 Max Electric Scooter in detail

The KuKirin G2 Max does 34 mph (55 km/h) with a rider on board, and the seat comes in the box — not as an extra. Those are the two things people ask, so they are the first two things here.

It is the sensible big scooter: one 1000W rear motor, a 48V 20.8Ah battery, disc brakes at both ends and 10-inch pneumatic tyres. At 31.7 kg it is a proper adult machine, but it folds and it will sit in a car boot.

What it actually does

  • 34 mph (55 km/h) loaded — three modes at 9, 25 and 34 mph, so you can keep it sensible while someone learns.
  • 1000W rear hub motor, 1200W peak, 25 N·m. Climbs up to 22°.
  • 48V 20.8Ah battery — up to 70 km quoted. Plan 30–40 km in real riding.
  • Seat, pump, tool kit and two keys included. Most scooters at this price charge extra for the seat.
  • Disc brakes front and rear plus an electronic brake, 8–12 m from full speed.
  • Spring suspension front and rear, 10-inch pneumatic tyres at 50 psi, 162 mm ground clearance.
  • IP54 weather rating — better sealed than most in this class.
  • LCD display, cruise control, indicators, and a tail light that flashes under braking.
  • Folds to 1260 × 605 × 580 mm. Carries up to 120 kg. Aluminium frame.

G2 Max or G2 Master?

We sell both, so here is the straight answer. The G2 Max (£580) is one motor, spring suspension, 34 mph — and it comes with a seat. The G2 Master (£699) is two motors, hydraulic suspension and 37 mph, with no seat. If you want the extra grip of both wheels driving and the better suspension, go Master. If you want the seat and £119 back in your pocket, the Max is the one.

Private land only, with the landowner's permission — privately owned e-scooters are not legal on public roads, pavements or cycle lanes in Northern Ireland. The NI rules, in plain English.
