REVVI 18"

A battery that lifts out, suspension that actually works, and 19 mph when they are ready for it.

Revvi 18 inch in black, front three-quarter view
01

The battery lifts out

The 36V 5Ah pack is removable. Charge it indoors instead of wheeling the bike through the kitchen, and if you buy a second one a flat battery stops being the end of the afternoon. This is the first bike in the range that can do that.

02

Full suspension, and the real kind

80 mm of travel up front and an air shock at the back running 140 psi — adjustable, not a lump of rubber. On a rutted field that is the difference between a bike they ride once and a bike they ride every day.

03

Hydraulic discs at both ends

Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes on 18-inch spoked wheels with knobbly tyres. At 19 mph the brakes stop being a detail, and these are the standard you would find on a grown-up trail bike.

Handlebars and speed mode controls on the Revvi 18 inch
04

Three modes, switched on the bars

9.5 / 13.5 / 19 mph. Set it low, ride with them, and move it up when you are happy. Black, red or blue, 20 kg, maximum rider weight 50 kg.

25min*

Revvi's own figure for constant riding in the fastest mode. In the slowest it stretches to about 1 hour 20 minutes. Real riding is stop-start so most children get considerably more — and because the pack lifts out, a spare battery doubles the day. Charging takes 1 hour 50, the quickest in the range.

Which Revvi fits your rider?

Revvi size by age and rider weight, not by how brave the child is. Pick the one that fits them now — the three speed modes handle the rest.

Not sure? Ring the shop and tell us their age and height. We would far rather sell you the right one than the dearest one.

See it move

A slow look around the 18". No rider — we would rather show you the bike than someone else's child.

Where you can legally ride it

Private land only, with the landowner's permission. A Revvi is an off-road machine — it is not legal on public roads, pavements or cycle paths in Northern Ireland, and it is not built for them. Revvi say the same on their own website. Children should be supervised, and a helmet is not optional. Buy this for a garden, a field, or land you have permission to use.

Revvi 18 inch standing in a bike workshop

Bought from a real shop.
Backed by a real workshop.

Every Revvi leaves our Cookstown shop built, checked over and charged — by people who have sold and fixed children's ride-ons since 2006. If something goes wrong it comes back to us, not into a courier's hands. Come and stand one beside your child before you decide. Collect, or tracked NI delivery.

Warranty: 6 months, Revvi's own. These are Revvi's bikes, not ours, so we quote their cover rather than invent our own — the site's 1-year guarantee is for Gorilla Karts' own-brand stock. After those 6 months our workshop is still here, with parts on the shelf.

Quick answers

What age is the 18" for?

Revvi rate it 8 years and up, maximum rider weight 50 kg. Younger or smaller, look at the 16" XL; bigger, look at the 20".

How fast does it go?

19 mph in the top mode, with 9.5 mph and 13.5 mph modes below it.

Is the battery really removable?

Yes — the 36V 5Ah pack lifts out for charging, and you can run a spare. The 16" XL below it cannot do this.

Is it road legal?

No. Private land only, with the landowner's permission, and children supervised. These are off-road machines.

How long does a charge last?

25 minutes of constant fast riding, up to 1 hour 20 in the slowest mode. It recharges in 1 hour 50.

Who fixes it?

We do, in our own Cookstown workshop, with parts on the shelf.

What warranty does it come with?

6 months, which is Revvi's own manufacturer warranty. Gorilla Karts' 1-year guarantee applies to our own-brand stock — we are not going to quote you a year on somebody else's product. What you get on top is a real workshop in Cookstown with Revvi parts on the shelf, for as long as you own the bike.

Is it in stock right now?

Check the button at the top of this page — it shows live stock. If it says sold out, the bikes are on their way and you can reserve one from £20 to hold it, or ring the shop and we will tell you honestly when it lands.

About this ride

The Revvi 18" in detail

19mph
top speed
3 modes

500W
36V hub motor
20kg
they can pick it up

The one most eight-year-olds are ready for. 19mph at the top from a 36V 500W hub motor — but it starts at 9.5mph, and you decide when they get the rest. At 20kg they can still pick it up themselves when it goes over, which matters more than any spec on this page.

Three modes, so it grows with them

9.5mph to learn on, 13.5 when they have the hang of it, 19 when they have earned it. It is the same bike at eight as it is at twelve — you just keep unlocking it. No need to buy again in a year.

The battery lifts out

The 36V 5Ah pack is removable — charge it indoors, or keep a spare so a flat battery does not end the afternoon. Around an hour and twenty minutes at low speed, 25 minutes if they never come off the throttle. Under two hours to charge.

Suspension and hydraulic brakes, not budget parts

Suspension forks with 80mm travel and an air shock on the back. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear — light enough for small hands to use properly, which is the whole point at this age.

Where it can legally be ridden

Private land only — not roads, pavements or cycle paths. Your own garden or land, or somewhere you have the owner's permission. Worth a read of our guide to the UK rules before you buy, especially if it is a present.
